Drive control valves are an actuating device, which requires a logic unit – a "controller", which is more common among automatons under the name "regulator". The controller, receiving a signal from the sensors, working according to the algorithm embedded in it, changes the control signal received by the actuator – a control valve with a drive, which, in turn, changes the position of the regulating body, changes the flow rate of the working medium.
